چکیده
Abstract Addressing solid waste recycling, this study aims to develop biodegradable kraft paper from buffing dust (BD) and post‐consumed jute fiber (JF). Employing a simple solution casting method with polyurethane binder, the was fabricated characterized using UV–Vis spectroscopy, FTIR, XRD, SEM, TGA, OTR, biodegradability, tensile tests. The findings revealed covalent hydrogen bonding between BD JF, forming uniform surface. Notably, composite exhibited improved thermal stability, enhanced gas barrier properties, biodegradability compared individual components. Furthermore, also showed 57% higher strength, 38% greater elongation, 20% increased hardness, 9% density dust. Compared fiber, increases were 125%, 91%, 30%, 19% respectively. Moreover, excelled in performance, surpassing JF by remarkable 61% 73% increase These significant underscore vast potential of as versatile material suitable for various applications, including packaging, interior furnishing industries, reinforcing elements footwear industry. By addressing management promoting sustainability, research contributes development eco‐friendly materials that align contemporary environmental concerns. Highlights Covalent enhance uniformity. Biodegradable properties. Impressive hardness. Versatile applications. Promotes sustainability management.

متن کاملFabrication and Characterization of Polyetherimide Hollow Fiber Membrane Contactor for Carbon Dioxide Stripping from Monoethanolamine Solution
In this research, process asymmetric polyetherimide hollow fiber membranes using ethanol (0, 2 and 4 wt%) as non-solvent additive in the polymer dope via phase inversion method were fabricated. Aqueous solution of 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidine (NMP) (90%) was applied as a bore fluid to avoid inner skin layer formation and water was used as the external coagulant. The morphology of fabricated membranes...
متن کاملFabrication of indocyanine green encapsulated biodegradable microbubbles for structural and functional imaging of cancer.
We developed a novel dual-modal contrast agent for the structural and functional imaging of cancer. The contrast agent was fabricated by encapsulating indocyanine green (ICG) in poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) microbubbles using a modified double-emulsion method. More stabilized absorption and fluorescence emission characteristics were observed for aqueous and plasma suspensions of ICG-enc...
